Dr. Scott Youn, OD
Dr. Youn received a Doctorate of Optometry degree with High honors in 1993 from the Michigan College of Optometry atFerrisStateUniversityin Big Rapids,Michigan. He also has a B.S. in Vision Science from Ferris State University.
Dr. Youn devotes a significant amount of time each year to exploring new eye care technology, and applies advanced concepts in optometry to his daily eye care. His area of interests are myopia prevention and advance contact lens fitting on visually challenged patients. He is regular guest lecturer for area churches and high schools on eye health related issues.
Dr. Youn is a long time resident ofSoutheast Michigan. He is married with 3 children- Peter, Paul and Phillip. He is an avid woodworker, electronic audio designer, enjoys golf and snow boarding.
