Keratitis, Corneal Ulcer

 Keratitis is inflammation of the cornea( clear centre portion of the eye). The cornea is a very tight bound tissue that is very resistant to common infections naturally. Most of clinical keratitis is  secondary to contact lens abuse, over use, or eye injury related.  Significant  signs of corneal infection are eye pain and light sensitivity . Prompt treatment of corneal infection is very important to prevent potential vision loss or even blindness.  This is a true eye emergency case.
